Celebrating Humanity

Joachim couldn't receive the proper care in her native country, and Moriconi graciously offered to provide her surgery at no cost, with AMH donating her clinical care. Additionally, Moriconi and his wife, Kristina, have welcomed Joachim into their home, where the family is acting as her advocate and caregiver. The Moriconis even prepared a traditional Haitian feast for her, their family and guests. Learn more in Michael Vitez's article, Haiti's Desperate Needs, Brought Home.
